Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a clinical syndrome, the most generally defi nition is: unexpected premature natural death due to cardiogenic causes on a person with or without a known heart disease, prevented by sudden loss of consciousness and occurs within an hour of the onset of acute symptoms. Th e incidence of sudden cardiac arrest is widely reported in published literature (15-48%), which depends on geographical and demographic indicators.
